Hi,
The following studentship is available at the Centre for Occupational
Health & Safety, Heriot Watt University
PHD STUDENTSHIP IN DRIVER BEHAVIOUR MEASUREMENT
We have a PhD studentship available in the measurement and evaluation of
driver behaviour, which will support the recently awarded EPSRC project
ACCORD. This project is a collaborative undertaking in association with
five of the key University/Research organisations undertaking
transportation human factors in the UK. ACCORD aims to agree, define and
evaluate methods for collection and presentation of data regarding driver
behaviour. Research proposals that are complementary to the aims of the
ACCORD project will be supported. Successful candidates will require a good
first degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., ergonomics/psychology). A
three-year studentship is available. Publication of academic papers at
appropriate forums will be actively encouraged and fully supported.
