Dear All,
a CD-ROM found in the Postgraduate Studio in Room151 is, upon
inspection, very much alive with computer viruses (including
AUTOSTART 9805-D, SevenDust-B, CDEF and MDEF-C).
If this is your CD-ROM, please let me know !
I have run a Virus Check programme in Room 151 and it is clear of any
viruses, as is the rest of EMS.
-----
NOTE:
Any users *regularly* bringing audio files in from home are advised
to check their home computers for viruses on a regular basis with a
suitable virus protection programme, such as Virex or Anti-Virus.
All EMS computers are virus-protected and any infected
CDs/floppies/zips will be ejected if a virus is detected.
-----
thanks
Ian
