Seen a few with more acute onset and offset (6 hours, not days). After
usual running round like a headless chicken trying to exclude anything
urgent, I asked the eye docs. Our bloke suggested migrainous
ophthalmoplegia, which he "sees all the time". Your lady's unilateral
headache preceding neurology is suggestive, but prolonged duration is
not. In other words, don't know!
