Might be an interesting audit for your department to do, to find out what
actually happens to these patients when they try and get follow up. Let me
know the result.
Regarding booking fracture clinic appointments at other hospitals, why can't
the referral be routine? The problem my staff are faced with is sometimes
mere red tape which I'm sure the GPs also get on occasion. e.g. the patient
must attend A&E first.
