italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
///////////CALL FOR PAPERS//////////
Kentucky Foreign Language Conference
Lexington, KY, U.S.A.
It is my privilege to announce the 55th Kentucky Foreign Language
Conference, to be held 18-20 April 2002 at the University of Kentucky,
Lexington, a very beautiful area known as the "Horse Capital of the World."
Although this is a very well-established foreign language conference with
over 500 papers being presented last year, there has not been a very stron
Italian contingent. Therefore, I invite you, your colleagues, your
graduate students and all interested Italianists to consider submitting a
proposal.
All foreign languages including Classics are eligible. Topics may include
pedagogy, linguistics, literature of any century, film, cultural studies,
gender studies, etc. Interdisciplinary papers are especially welcome.
>>>>>Deadline for submission of abstracts: 1 November 2001.<<<<<
For more information on the conference, including special sessions and
events, please visit our web page (www.ukyedu/AS/KFLC) or contact myself at

Please send any proposals (title and brief abstract) to me by email
