As far as I know, all the contents of the SCAD database
have now been integrated in the Commission Library's online
catalogue, ECLAS at
http://europa.eu.int/eclas/
Apart from straightforward author/keyword searches, it is
possible to limit searches by all the same criteria as on
EU Infobase (date, language, type of material). This makes
it a lot more straightforward to find research material in
books, journals, documents and online formats in one go.
Has EU Infobase definitely died? I don't recall seeing
anything from the publisher, although I assumed it couldn't
carry on easily without SCAD.
Best wishes
