The 2001 regulations from the college specify only
(post-registration) requirements of six months each in
an acute surgical and medical specialty,in addition to
twelve months A&E.
Unlike the previous regulations, no allowance is made
or rather, required, for PRHO jobs.
Of course ATLS and Part I MRCP/MRCPCH/FRCA or the MCQ
bit of the 'surgical' MRCS is a must as well.
Hope that will make things a bit clearer, and not the
opposite...!
