The colour-change disposable capno-thingies are widely available - like
Simon I don't carry any at the moment (keep meaning to buy them and then
forget when the next order is due) but that is likely to change!
The problem is in the entrapped patient in whom BVM is difficult or
impossible - a combitube is now my preferred approach to this, but you still
need to work out which tube to ventilate so a positive capnograph result
would be a welcome addition to clinical assessment of placement.
