Young Peoples Social Attitudes by Alison M. Park
Description: This site provides access to the full research report and
findings of ESRC award no. R000237765 which was completed in 2001. It is
made available on the Internet via the Regard site. The purpose of the
research was to survey young people's attitudes on a number of issues and
compare them with those of adults. A key area covered is political attitudes
including knowledge and identification with political parties and attitudes
towards voting. Also included are attitudes towards education, employment,
the local environment, homelessness, racial discrimination and 'age of
consent' questions.

RUSEL Papers
Description: The RUSEL Papers are a collection of working papers published
by the Forum For Comparative Political Economy Studies based in the
Department of Economics at the University of Exeter. They focus on all
aspects of political economy including economic regulation and deregulation,
the relationship between the public and private sectors, the Public private
partnerships, competition and merger policies, privatisation and the

Causes and Consequences of Regulatory Transformation: a British-German
Comparison
Description: This is the home page of a project being conducted jointly by
the University of Exeter Department of Politics and the University of
Erlanger-Nuremburg, Germany. Its leading researcher include Professor
Stephen Wilks and Dr. Ian Bartle. It started in January 2000 and is
evaluating and comparing the systems for regulation of the economic sector
in Germany and the UK. The web site provides access to an outline of the
project and the full text of its reports and working papers. These cover a
range of aspects relating to the public administration of the economy. They
include consideration of centralised and self regulation methods
