Campbell Collaboration: Social Welfare Group
Some information, and an invitation to register an interest
The Campbell Collaboration is an international effort that aims to help
people make well-informed decisions by preparing, maintaining, and promoting
access to systematic reviews of studies on the effects of social and
behavioural policies and practices.
Social Welfare is one of three groupings within Campbell (the others being
Criminal Justice and Education). This Group will seek to foster reviews
concerning the efficiency, effects and cost-effectiveness of different
organisational, procedural and administrative systems used within Social
Welfare. The broad areas of activity around which reviews will initially
cluster include:
INTERVENTIONS
· Fiscal Policies
· Public Policies
· Social Policies
· Minority Group Services
· Social Work Services
CLIENT/USER GROUPS
· Children and Adolescents
· People with Learning Disabilities
· Older People
· People with Physical Disabilities and/or Chronic Illness
For more information about the Social Welfare Group, and to register an
interest in the work of the group, please email Jean Money
