If you have questions on Kwalitan, contact Vincent Peters, the author.
He should know, shouldn't he?

Have a look at my web site http://www.intext.de/TEXTANAE.HTM for an
overview on text analysis software, you will also find a Kwalitan link
there that should lead you to the author as well.

Having read your mail, what do you want to do with the results? Do you
plan a statistical analysis? Do you want to code on the screen or do you
think it is possible that words, word combination/word sequences suffice
to code your data more or less automatically (the QDA-folks call that
autocoding). If this is the case, also packages for content analysis
like the one I developed (http://www.textquest.de) should be considered.
