Community & Diversity, the one-day autumn conference of the Friendly
Societies Research Group will take place on 19th October starting at 9.45.
Location: Freemanson's Hall, Gt Queen St, London
Speakers include historians, the Director of the Library and Museum of
Freemasonry and the President of the Association of Friendly Societies.
There will be a guided tour of the ceremonial rooms and museum and an
opportunity for Friendly Societies Research Group members (and others) to
report back on their recent work.
Fee: £10, (£8 members) includes lunch and coffee. Cheques payable to The
Open University should be sent to M Bee, Oxford Brookes University,
Wheatley, Oxford Ox33 1HX.
