italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
//////// CALL FOR PAPERS //////////
It is my privilege to announce the 55th Kentucky Foreign Language
Conference, to be held 18-20 April 2002 at the University of Kentucky
campus in Lexington, KY, a very beautiful area known as the "Horse Capital
of the World."
Deadline for submission of abstracts: 1 November 2001
All foreign languages including Classics will be represented.
Topics for Italianists may include pedagogy, linguistics, literature of any
century, film, cultural studies, and women's studies. Interdisciplinary
topics are especially welcome.
Acceptance of the paper for presentation implies a commitment on your part
to register and attend the conference. No papers will be accepted until
after the 1 Nov. deadline. After that date, acceptance letters will be
sent promptly. All presenters must pay the $60 registration fee by 31
January 2002. (Fees for graduate students are also economical: $20.) The
2002 KFLC program will be shared with the ERIC Clearinghouse on Languages
and Linguistics for possible inclusion in their data bank.
