Dear all,
We need informations of well-designed studies on the inequity in access to
medicines.
In Seoul, South Korea, we are planning a survey of 10,000 workers in public
sector. The survey is basically designed to draw general informations on
labor health, but my team is thinking of inserting several (- 10) questions
concerning the inequity in access to medicines.
1) As this is only for public sector workers. it won't be able to compare
the inequity in access to medicine. Rather, the survey would have to be
designed to figure out what are the biggest factor influencing the
accessibility to medicines.
2) Though this study, we will have to figure out what are the drugs causing
heaviest burdens on people, at least on public workers.
3) We are planning an on-going study for temporary workers with helps from
KCTU. It would be great if we can compare the data from both studies to
draw the differences in access to medicine between regular workers and
irregular/temporary workers, which occupies 62% of all workers right now in
South Korea.
WHAT WE NEED: I'd appreciate it very much if any of you can send me 1) a
well-designed study similar to this, 2) any study that would be helpful for
us to make questions, or 3) any comments or whatever we would find helpful.
Thank you for your careful reading.
Best regards,
Hae-joo Chung
