I thought the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq was in 1990...
The US began bombing in January 1991, about 5-6 months after the
invasion.
I think we need to be very, very careful about how we deal with the
events of Tuesday. The right in the global north has been given perhaps
the biggest gift it possibly could. We don't need to make things any
worse than they already are.
