The School of Sociology and Social Policy at University of Surrey
Roehampton (SW London) has a vacancy for lecturing work on an
undergraduate Foundation level course 'History of the Welfare
State' in the coming semester, starting at the beginning of October
2001. This would be for two hours per week, probably on a
Tuesday, to a group of around twenty First Year students.
Payment is for 14 weeks: twelve teaching weeks, a consultation
week and an examination week. Some preparation time may also
be included.
There is also the opportunity for teaching Comparative Social
Policy and/or a Researching Social Policy course in Semester 2
(February-June 2002), both to social policy undergraduates.
