Learning from Healthy Living Centres - building partnerships for healthy
communities
The Pioneer Health Centre (PHC) invites tenders (by 30 August 2001) for a
short-term piece of applied policy research to be completed between
September 2001 and February 2002. The purpose of the work is to report on
lessons from applications to the healthy living centre programme,
particularly the types of partnerships formed and the issues for engaging
and sustaining the involvement of the community sector; to evaluate the
effectiveness of PHC's Healthy Living Project, funded by the Department of
Health, in supporting the sharing of information and to analyse emergent
healthy living centre models.
