Dear Martyn,
I have been playing around with Dragon Naturally
Speaking the Professional version and it takes a lot
of work to make the program recognize an individual's
speaking style, accent, and so forth. If you are going
to use Dragon to transcribe spoken words from a number
of individuals you would have to have them all work
with the program to get it accustomed to their
speaking style. This would be very difficult and time
consuming if you are working with large groups.
On my side I would appreciate it if you could explain
more about the MP Players. How are you recording your
information? Are you doing digital recording and then
downloading the information onto your computer? I
would be most grateful if you could explain more about
that - it does sound like if we all get a good system
figured out we could save ourselves a LOT of time!
Cheers, Mark Davidheiser
