Two recent articles in Physical Therapy by Robertson and Baker (Vol 81(7),
July 2001) come to the same conclusion. However, we all know that thousands
of patients world-wide experience a decrease in pain or improvement in
musculoskeletal function from ultrasound. In response to the literature,
the question to be asked is Why??
