No solutions...only greetings from a fellow sufferer!
In Bucks I think we've had exactly the same problem...we can add a point or
polygon to ArcView in the SMRView but no link is created to the Exegesis
record and the ArcView tables remain empty (and uneditable). We have also
had Amanda looking at this problem intermittently for several months...with
no results! The net result is that we have a few unnattached points and
polygons floating around...and a backlog of sites requiring digitising into
GIS...and are still no further forward! GRRRR! I'm surprised that
inputting an NGR into the database doesn't automatically generate a point in
GIS...is this something that the Exegesis User's Group can put on the list
for the next update?
We also have the same problem with the top record still appearing, despite
the bug patch! I've told Amanda about this, although no one else had
mentioned it apparently.
