Dear subscribers,
I am Ekaterina Neklyudova, a PhD student at the
Department of History and Philology, Russian State
University for Humanities (RSUH), Moscow, Russia. My
MA from the RSUH (1998) is in Russian Literature. My
current research deals with the belle-letre narratives
and memoirs of nineteenth-century physicians in
Russia. I am also interested in how professional and
fictional features of physician as a character shape
the structure and semantic load of the romantic
narrative. As well, the scope of my research includes
cultural and literary connectivity of German (or wider
- European) and Russian romantic tradition of
introducing physicians into the plot.
I’ll be glad to share any information and to receive
any comments.
Sincerely,
Ekaterina Neklyudova
