Dear All,
We hope shortly to be in a position to advertise a Ph.D. studentship
position, with links to and part-funding from the Countryside Council for
Wales, on
Techniques to investigate recent vegetational change in Welsh mires.
The studentship would commence in the (mid-late) Autumn, although a later
start-date might be countenanced.
This is an open field. Previous experience, either in mire plant ecology or
in palaeoecological techniques, would be advantageous but is not essential.
Further details are available either from me or direct from
[log in to unmask]
A good degree in either biological sciences, environmental sciences,
geography or a related subject would normally be expected (equiv. to first
or upper second in the UK system; or continental equivalent). Holders of a
relevant Masters degree are especially encouraged to apply.
The position will be advertised shortly on jobs.ac.uk
Many thanks,
Frank
