You obviously don't read ECO then Rowley, we are discussing this at the
monet on there and the standard NHS stone wall over ambi training is
preventing intelligent discussion because of the number of NHS ambulance
staff sat there with their figures in their ears singing 'we're the best la
la la,' ;->
so far as well as being accused of telling people about ambulance training
( which after all i do understand just a smidge seen as how i'm doing it
with SJA at present and know a number of recently qualified NHS ambi crews),
i've been told that other health professionals are trained by the 'NHS' ,
last time i looked there weren't many lecturers with NHS contracts (unless
we are talking honorary contracts in both directions) and the private and
military placements that student healh professionals go on must be a figment
of the collective imagination
the whole of pre-hospital care needs a shake up, and common standards
applied across the board regardless of who employs you, much like the rest
of healthcare where who employs you doesn't determine the legitimacy of your
existance
