I vote to keep the forum going - it is disappointing this suggestion has had
not had more responses to it. Are there similar lists?

Subject: Re: wrap-up and shut down crit-geog-forum...
Hello
Lets face it, Crit-Geog-Forum has for some time ceased to be a serious arena
for critical/political discussion. It is widely lambasted by people on and
off the list, many of whom regard it as a site for posture rather than
critical engagement. It is I think a failed medium.
In light of recent postings, it occurs to me that it is probably time that
Crit-Geog-Forum revise what it is meant to be all about. There was never
anything in its original configuration that said it was to last forever, and
having been involved since the early days, I think it is difficult to
sustain an arguement that it has been sucessful in sustaining a critical
geographical community.
So, lets pull the plug.
