Research Opportunities In Housing & Social Exclusion.
The School of Planning and Housing in Edinburgh College of Art is seeking to
boost its dynamic research team with two new appointments:
(1) Research Associate in housing, especially on access and management
issues, including stock transfers. This is a 2-year post with possible
renewal, on Research Scale 1A, £19,542-£22,292.
(2) Postgraduate Research Assistantship in the Centre for Research into
Socially Inclusive Services (CRSIS. This is an opportunity for someone with
a good first or masters degree in social science to study for a PhD/MPhil
degree whilst working as a team member researching social inclusion and
access to services. The topic specialism is negotiable, but could involve
longitudinal work with younger people, implications of new technology for
services, or spatial data linkage. This is a 2-year post, with possible
renewal on Research Scale 1B, £17,446-19,480 f/t, or pro-rata p/t.
