Senior Researcher / Principal Researcher - Evaluation Ref: LBS/AC/176
Salary: Up to £31,555 (Senior Researcher); Up to £37,529 (Principal Researcher)
We are seeking an outstanding individual to contribute to evaluation work. This position offers the enviable opportunity of making a major contribution to the continued development of the Institute's evaluation research projects and to provide academic and professional leadership. The postholder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of research and consultancy projects and will contribute to other research teams. Applicants should have extensive experience of working in a contract research and consultancy environment and preferably have a record of academic publication.

This position offers the enviable opportunity of making a major contribution to the continued development of the labour market and economic development team in the Institute and to provide academic and professional leadership. The postholder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of research and consultancy projects and will contribute to other research teams. Applicants should have extensive experience of working in a contract research and consultancy environment and, preferably have an interest in producing academic publications.

Research Officer (Temporary for 21 months) Ref: PRI/RO/B/T
Salary: £16,209 - £20,471 (Researcher B points 1-6)
We are seeking to appoint a Research Officer (temporary for 21 months in the first instance) to provide research support and take responsibility for some elements of research projects in a variety of areas of the work undertaken by the Policy Research Institute. Applicants should have expertise in at least two of the following areas: Evaluation; Regeneration and Community Development; Labour Markets; Skills; and Public Services. Applicants should be graduates with a qualification in a relevant social science.
