Hello Zahava,
I have had this problem too. You have to set the font size to "large
font" in the Advanced options of your Screen Configuration.
You can achieve this by clicking on your desktop (not on an icon, just
on an empty spot on the desktop) with the right button of your mouse and
choosing "Properties". You then go to the extreme right tab (It says
"Parametres" in French so I guess it's something like Settings or
something on your English Windows version). You should see a desktop
typical scene with your Screen type (e.g. "Panasonic model so and so")
and two settings: Colors and Screen size. Click on the "Advanced
settings" button. The "General" tab will allow you to change the Font
size to "Large" (or 125% or normal size, 120 dpi instead of 96 dpi).
It did the trick for me.

I currently have over 125 interviews (each more than 1500 lines long)
entered in N4 (N5 should be the same on this aspect) and plan to append
250 more in the next year. So far, I have had no problem and the
database is still growing. Of course, the project gets bigger and bigger
and search time gets longer, but I'm confident it can do the job. N4-5
are robust software, unlike their little brother NVivo that would
probably crash more often than it should with more than 40 X 20 pages
interviews. However, for safety, I'll split my project in two when I
have to add 350 more interviews from another panel of students... I
might try to merge them just to see what happens, but I won't run after
trouble.
Good luck!
