Masters level at Queen's University Belfast, and is Chairperson of the N.I.
Group for Art as Therapy (NIGAT).
Art Therapy at the Threshold: in cancer care and loss work
Art therapy is valuable in psycho-social oncology and complicated grief
work. It offers a multi-sensory transliminal approach, offering a 'bridge'
across thresholds between psyche & soma, self & other, and across time. This
promotes an integrative psychophysical processing of loss experiences
through inner loss-work and social re-engagement in art therapy groups.
