Hi folks,
I was just looking at the way we teach manual hyperinflation
("bagging") and came across a rather fancy computer linked lung
simulator that enables setting the compliance and volumes, and
recording flow loops.
Does anyone have experience of learning associated with this kind
of kit?
It costs a fair bit (around 8000 pounds) - do you think this is
overkill?
Conversely perhaps you think that no price to too high to pay to
make sure my students know how the mechanical properties of a
diseased lung effect the response to bagging?
comments welcomed!
Andrew
