TASI is pleased to announce the Autumn schedule of its popular
workshops, aimed at those involved in creating or using digital images.
Three new courses have been added to the programme including "Managing
a Digitisation Project", and "You've digitised but now what?"
All workshops are currently run in Bristol and, in response to demand,
some have been placed back-to-back to provide an in-depth immersion in
the subject and to minimise on travel. Details of these paired
workshops follow.
Capture/Digitisation for Beginners with Managing a Digitisation Project

Advanced Capture/Digitisation with Image Processing and Manipulation
for Collections Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th October 2001
Setting up an image database - cataloguing & metadata with Intermediate
Capture/Digitisation Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th December 2001
Advanced Capture/Digitisation with "Funky File Formats" Tuesday 15th
and Wednesday 16th January
