I am circulating details of a one day Social Policy Association workshop on
New Labour, Gender and Social Policy on 21 September 2001 at London
Guildhall University. The workshop aims to provide a critical assessment
of new Labour’s social policies and their differential impact on women and
men. Harriet Harman MP, will open the workshop and other speakers include
Claire Callender, Fran Bennett, Jay Ginn, Sue Himmelweit, Maggie May, Jane
Millar, Katherine Rake, Fiona Scheibl and Janet Shucksmith.
