Nor did I take it as a personal 'knock'. I think that it is the ethos of the
place that is important. Some large institutions seem to have a greater
acknowledgement of the need for a 'student-centred' course.
It's probably too easy to look at other institutions and think that they
do 'better' in the manner that students, staff, and courses are treated;
however, it does seem that the 'Polyversities' are far more 'business
orientated' than the older, established uni's.
