I have been informed, in response ot my letter that it is a 'curriculm
requirment' with regard to personal and social education that children are
expected to talk about themselves and their lives.
none of the work will be displayed and any discomfort will be picked up on
and dealt with by the teacher contacting the parents.
It was purely educational, (is anything purely educational) what ever that
means.
But I was thanked for raising his attention to it, nothing was meant by it
and most of the children really enjoyed the work and thought it was fun.
I pointed out that there would always be exceptions, he said that he was
aware of that.
