LECTURESHIPS (2 POSTS)
GRADE A - £17,755 to £23,256 (pay award pending)

Applications are invited for two Lectureships, one from 1 October 2001
and
one from 1 January 2002. You will contribute to the expansion of
research
within the Department and to the changing postgraduate and undergraduate
curriculum. It is expected that you will have completed or be about to
complete a Ph.D. Suitably qualified applicants with research interests
in
one or more of the broad areas, historical and cultural musicology,
Scottish
music and musicians, computer applications to music, and composition
will be
considered. We have particular teaching needs in historical musicology
(especially opera and 19th-century studies); music in contemporary
culture;
music technology.
