Subject: Gothenburg - protest against shootings.
SHOT FOR WANTING A BETTER WORLD
Globalise Resistance has called two protests condemning the police
shooting of protesters at the protests against the Gothenburg EU Summit
in Sweden.
There has been systematic and continued repression of protesters during
the conference, and police tactics can only be described as brutal. The
tens of thousands of people protesting in Gothenburg want a better
world. They represent millions more across Europe and the world.
Europešs leaders responded with police bullets and baton charges.
In condemnation of the police action, Globalise Resistance has called
two protests.
17.00 Sunday 17th June. 10 Downing Street.
16.30 Monday 18th June, Swedish Embassy, 11 Montagu Place
London W1H 2AL
Present will be activists from Globalise Resistance who have been taking
part in the protests. We hope the press and media will be there to allow
those who took part in the protests to tell the truth about the
protests.
It is important that these protests are as big as possible.
Please forward this email on.
