Electronic Telegraph Election 2001
This site was created by The Telegraph newspaper to provide coverage of the
British general election
2001. It contains news stories and political analysis taken from the
newspaper which cover the policies of the main political parties, the
performance of the Labour Party government, the political manifestos, party
election campaigns and opinion polls. The Telegraph tends to favour the
Conservative Party viewpoint. An additional feature of the site is a
searchable database of information on individual constituencies with MP and
socioeconomic profiles and lists of recent election results. The site also
contains a number of light hearted election games. These include a
'swingometer' to predict the outcome.

Independent Election 2001
This site was created by the Independent newspaper in association with
Ladbrokes to provide coverage of the British general election 2001. It
contains news stories and political analysis taken from the newspaper which
cover the policies of the main political parties, the performance of the
Labour Party government, the political manifestos, party election campaigns
and opinion polls. Additional features of the sites are electronic
constituency maps and discussion forums for the public. Links are provided
to the web sites of the main political parties.
