Diagnostic radiology -Treat the person, not the scan

The National Sports Medicine Institute of the UK (NSMI) is a registered
medical charity that, in partnership with The Osteopathic Sports Care
Association run a national programme of post registration education.
The Diagnostic Radiology course will aim to provide Osteopaths and other
NHS approved healthcare professionals with information and guidance
regarding the radiological investigation of sports injuries, helping
them to better understand the timing, appropriate use and effective
referral of patients for various investigations, including X-ray,
diagnostic ultrasound and MRI scanning.
Lectures will be given by Dr Philip Bell, Dr Simon Blease, Dr Otto Chan,
Dr Tom Crisp and Dr Allan Irvine. At the end of the day there will be
opportunity for three delegates to present a difficult/interesting scan
or X-ray. Delegate discussions groups will follow the case
presentations.
