INTRODUCTION TO QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
WEDNESDAY 16TH MAY 2001, 9.30am - 5.30pm
London Voluntary Resource Centre, 356 Holloway Road, London N7 6PA
This training day will provide an introduction to qualitative research and
is aimed at people with little experience in this area. The day will cover
the purpose of qualitative research; qualitative methods; sampling and
recruitment; the principles of unstructured interviewing; analysis;
reporting and presenting qualitative research. Practical sessions will cover
sample design, interviewing and analysis. There will be time for questions
and discussions throughout the day
Please note that this training day is intended as an introduction to
qualitative research. A further course on qualitative research skills
'Introduction to Qualitative Data Analysis' is planned for September 2001.
