We have just loaded another 5 old letters onto our postal history pages :
detailed urls listed below, and because of the response we have received to
these webpages from family historians, we thought it would be worth
pointing out to newcomers that you don't have to stick to genealogy
websites for relevant information.
We receive many queries from people all over the world who have found our
postal history pages - while they were in fact looking for family history
- just by typing in their family name on a search engine such as Google.
The classic example of this is the first of these letters.
I was able to discover information about the first three of these letters
concerning London with input from members of this Local history list, so
those members might like to see the end result of their knowledge !
