University of Nottingham
Lecturer in Psychology
One-Year Post, starting September 2001
We have a vacancy for a one-year lecturer that would be suitable for someone
in the process of completing their PhD. The post is available as a regular
lecturing post with general interests in cognitive psychology, or it could be a
job-share with me, for someone with similar research interests. I
have a number
of projects running at the moment, and the one-year post could be part-attached
to any or all of them. Someone attached to one of the on-going projects would
get a half teaching load.
The on-going projects are: (i) eye movements of pianists while they are sight-
reading; (ii) eye movements of drivers while driving and in the lab,
using video
displays; (iii) eye movements of readers, investigating the
conditions under which a
help screen will be triggered in response to a detected difficulty;
and (iv) eye
movements and scene perception, both static and dynamic.
If you have any interest in this post, or if you know of someone who might be,
please contact me informally by e-mail as soon as possible at:
