Dear Colleagues
The Scottish Executive has recently issued a draft statement of "core
care standard" for the treatment of people with alcohol and drug
problems (in registered residential care settings). The standards
are part of a wider exercise to regulate the residential care sector.
The draft is out for consultation with evidence to be submitted by
29th June.
I would be interested in the thoughts of other EWODOR members and
VERY interested to know whether such standards are well established
(or otherwise) in other European countries. You can view the draft
