Maria,
I found a report from which I understand that while data is available with
regard to primary and secondary education, there are not general statistics
on students with disabilities in higher education in Italy.
University of Padova, for instance, has 289 students with disabilities out
of a population of 66000 students. I am aware this is not an answer, but
that's what I got!
On the other hand, there is data provided by the Department of Education for
primary and secondary education. It is below.
In the first five years of school (children aged from 6 to 10 years) 1.87%
of students are students with disabilities
In the following three years of school (children aged from 11 to 13 years)
2.45% of students are students with disabilities
Finally, in secondary education (boys aged from 14 to 18 years) 0.49% of
students are students with disabilities
All this stuff is at

=17 The report was written in Italian by Marco Cundari
