Hi everyone

My name is Ian Fyfe, and I have recently been appointed Learning Officer
with Scottish UfI.

A large part of my job is looking at online content, bearing in mind that
our Integrated Learning System will soon come into being.  This will have an
impact on the learning opportunities on offer, and therefore on the Branded
Learning Centres that are already in existence, those working towards
Branded status, and those who will join us in the future.

As part of our support to Learning Centres, we have set up an online forum
to allow the flow of information from SUfI to you, you to SUfI, you to each
other.

The attachment with this is an update on events here at SUfI.  Many of you
may have received this already, but I thought it would be a good way to
introduce you to this online forum, which I believe can be a good tool for
all our Learning Centres to share best practice, make your opinions/comments
known to us, receive information on ongoing events from SUfI.

New Learning Centres will be added as they achieve branding, and the help
and information from the group would be extremely helpful to them, I am
sure.

You may have already received your invitation to join this forum, or will in
the near future.
