CURRENT EXHIBITION
THE BIRMINGHAM JEWELLERY QUARTER
7 APRIL 2001 TO 1 JULY 2001
English Heritage have recently surveyed this fascinating and historic
industrial area,
where traditional trades such as jewellery and silverware manufacture are
still
carried out in the 19th and early 20th-century workshops, often using
historic tools and machinery.
The exhibition illustrates the special character of the Jewellery Quarter
