Mass-murder and Morality: Some thoughts on an easily misunderstood subject

Harald Welzer is Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Hanover
and has published widely on the Holocaust and memory. He has recently
completed a research project on "Traditions of Historical Consciousness"
which examines how the "Third Reich" continues to have an effect on the
minds of Germans and the selection process by which material about the
"Third Reich"is handed down from one generation to the next.
