An exciting opportunity exists to join a leading organisation in the care
and quality of life of black and minority ethnic older people. Based in
Central Leeds or London.
RESEARCH POSTS
Led by PRIAE, both posts will work on a major Project under European
Commission's Fifth Framework Research Programme on Minority Ethnic Care on
quality and effectiveness of health and social care in 10 European
countries. Knowledge of black and minority ethnic groups/elder issues is
required for both positions.
Post 1 - Principle Researcher Ref: SMC 0001/G
£21,000 - £26,000 per annum LEEDS 3 Years
Educated to postgraduate level in social/biological sciences or management,
and with substantial research experience, you will take a leading role in
this major research project. Excellent communication skills and
Post 2 - Research Assistant Ref: SMC 0002/G
£16,000 - £18,731 per annum pro rata LEEDS 3 Years
A graduate with some previous experience and knowledge of research methods
you will work as part of the team led by the principle researcher.
DEVELOPMENT POSTS - FULL TIME
All posts involve work with black minority ethnic elders, organisations and
professionals as part of national and regional developments.
Post 3 - Development Training Manager in Dementia CNEOPSA project
£22,000 - £26,000 per annum LONDON 2 Years Ref: SMC 0003/G
A graduate with a training or relevant professional qualification, you must
have substantial experience of project management training and production of
materials.
Post 4 - Project Manager in Quality of Health care
£22,000 - £26,000 per annum LEEDS 3 Years Ref: SMC 0004/G
A graduate (or equivalent) in health/quality Management you must have
excellent IT and communication skills along with substantial experience of
project Management.
Post 5 - Regional Development Officer
£18,000 - £23,000 per annum LEEDS 2.5 Years Ref: SMC 0005/G
A graduate (or equivalent) you must have good experience of project
Management in community development care services along with good IT skills
INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION AND FINANCE ADMINISTRATION - FULL TIME These
posts provide critical support to the institute providing for the specific
information and communication needs of PRIAE as well as dealing with the
public, policy makers and the media.
Post 6 - Information & Communication Officer
£19,000 - £24,000 per annum LONDON 2 Years Ref: SMC 0006/G
A graduate (or equivalent) you will have excellent communication and IT
skills along with experience of dealing with the media.
Post 7 - Finance Administrative Officer
£17,000 - £22,000 per annum LEEDS 3 Years Ref: SMC 0007/G
With a finance background/qualification you will have at least 3 years
experience of financial administration. Good IT skills are essential.
