He is a last reminder that the research group working on the Building LCA
project, will be holding the second round of stakeholder consultations
workshops with designers, architects, policy makers, builders, manufactures
and academics. We will briefly be discussing the information collected on
LCA case studies in Australia and will be presenting a proposal for an
Environmental Performance Data Sheet (EPDS). The sheet has been modelled on
the MSDS (material safety data sheet) and is planned as a voluntary format
to present environmental information on products and materials. The aim is
to get stakeholder input into the EPDS to ensure that it becomes a useful
tool to aid in the carry out of LCA, and to help those who have
environmental claims to make to do so uniformly.
Please find attached the meeting agendas and registration forms (note
previous form may have have and error in the fax number) on the sessions and
video conference times. We would like to invite and encourage as many of
those interested to book in as numbers are limited.
