Wendy, QSR has a helpline for such technical queries - just mail

general queries about strategy or method with QSR software. The website also
has a lot of FAQ texts, and probably your CD's unfriendly behaviour is
covered in the one at

Subject: using CD writer to save the NVIVO file
Dear all,
I have been using NVIVO to analyze the qual data and I have just finished
coding the data. I was trying to use cd writer to copy the file. Then I
encountered some technical problems. I was able to make a copy of the NVIVO
file, but I couldn't open the file by using NVIVO program. There was a box
poped out and stated I didn't have a permission to open the file. But I
didn't set any password for the project. So I am quite confused.
It was so strange as I didn't have any problem with Nudist 4.
Does anyone know how to tackle this problem?
Wendy
