I am guest editting an Issue of Benefits, a journal on social securityresearch policy and practice. The January 2002 issue will focus on
issues to do with research on social security (Broadly defined: ie
income maintenance, welfare to work, social exclusion etc) in relation
to minority ethnic groups, refugees and asylum seekers. One section of
the issue covers research roundup: this gives an opportunity for
researchers to describe recent research in no more than 500 words;
covering a statement of aims, findings, policy recommendations and
methodology. If anyone has a contribution they could make, please
contact me by email and we can discuss. I would need contributions
finally by the end of September.
There is also a section called endpiece which allows for slightly more
polemic pieces of up to 1400 words. If anyone has a contribution they
might like to make in line with the theme of the issue, please contact
me in the first instance. Same deadline for final copy.
Thanks
Gary Craig
