Hello,
I would be very delighted if you could help me with the following questions:
>>How does the motor recovery of stroke patients process?
>>Are there different phases that Brunstrom and Titchel writing about verifyed (1. paretic - 2. beginning spasticity - 3. "obvious" spasticity - 4. declining spasticity - 5. slight spasticity - 6. coordinatin and movement patterns approximately normal - 7. normal) and do all or most of the stroke patients have these phases of recovery?
>>Is it better to avoid every spasticity and associated reactions and to decontract the muscle tone or do you accept higher tone, can you reach normal patterns by passing through spasticity?
>>Do you think stroke patients can be trained with resistive training and in what phase/moment they can start it?
>>Eccentric control: is this the main problem and how can you get this control?
>>Are there other mailbases for neurological questions like these?
>>What therapy do you use for acute stroke patients (and later)?
Thank you very much,
Yours,
